Geox un evento da condividere

Facehunter è il ritrattista di facce. Detto così potrebbe sembrare quasi il titolo di un seriale, di quelli che ti fanno spaventare a morte. In realtà Ivan Rodic è l'uomo dei volti fashion, dello streetstyle, un Doisneau moderno che gira per le strade e scatta all'improvviso. 

Di questi ritratti ne ha fatti parecchi, talmente tanti da organizzarli nel libro Year in the life of Facehunter.

Questa foto me l'ha scattata proprio lui all'evento Geox, l'azienda lo ha coinvolto per raccontare, attraverso portraits la nuova collezione #geoxtour. Le tappe erano inserite nelle più importanti capitali europee: Parigi, Berlino,  Barcellona e infine Milano. 

Volevo usare questa foto per la copertina del mio ultimo libro. Voi che ne pensate?

Facehunterportraits faces. This may sound almost like the title of a serial, the one that make you scared to death. In fact, IvanRodic is a man of many face:  fashion, streetstyle, like a modern Doisneau that runs through the streets and suddenly snapspictures. Out of his passion he made a book ' A year in the Life of Facehunter', Thames & udson publishers. He took this picture of me a the Geox event. The company hired him to tell through the portraits the new collection, in the most important European capitals Paris, Berlin and Barcelona and also Milan.

Il cachemire di Stefanel a Villa Emo

Quando vado a Villa Emo è come essere a casa. Ci sono storie, ambienti familiari, colori che ti fanno sentire bene. Perché fu proprio pensata per questo: un luogo dove abitare. 

Straordinario certo, tuttavia aperto alla quotidianità dei loro proprietari, Leonardo Emo e Cornelia Grimani, i quali nel 1565 festeggiarono fra queste mura il loro matrimonio. La costruzione della villa, che nasce a metà del 1500 nel comune di  Vedelago, fu commissionata al grande Palladio dalla famiglia Emo. I discendenti vi hanno abitato fino al 2004. Gli affreschi che vedete sono di Giovanni Battista Zelotti.

 Ho scelto di ambientare il cachemire di Stefanel proprio a Villa Emo, perché fornisce lo stesso abbraccio. E' una maglia informale, calda. Non ti lega ad un artificio estetico, ti fa muovere liberamente. Questo è il lusso di essere insieme alle cose, di farne parte. 

La tua personalità, insomma, intrecciata ai filati.

Apre oggi Pitti Uomo edizione numero 83

Pronta per Firenze alla volta di Pitti Uomo, edizione numero 83, che oggi ha aperto i battenti nei padiglioni di Fortezza da Basso alla presenza del sindaco Matteo Renzi. 

 1062 i marchi presenti con tutte le novità A/I Inverno 2013/14, 70 invece i brand femminili collocati nell'area Pitti W alla Dogana.

Le cose da vedere sono tantissime: la sfilata di Ermanno Scervino, per esempio, nel prestigioso Salone dei Cinquecento di Palazzo Vecchio e quella della Maison Kenzo, al Mercato Centrale, ospite con i  suoi stilisti Carol Lim e Humberto Leon.  

E ancora, Maison Kitsunè, il designer svedese Erїk Bjerkesjö, vincitore di Who is on Next? Uomo 2012 e Andrea Pompilio alla Stazione Leopolda. Da non perdere tutta l’area della Danimarca, la guest nation del calendario.  

 Ma sarà anche un’occasione per tuffarmi in mezzo ai libri, trovo meraviglioso il tema di questo appuntamento «Bookswear mania»  perché lo stile e il pensiero camminano molto, ma molto, vicini.

Ready for Florence Pitti Uomo, 83rd edition, inaugurated today by the Mayor Matteo Renzi at Fortezza da Basso.

1062 the menswear brands for the A/W 2013/14 collections and 70 womenswear brands hosted at the Pitti W at the Dogana.
